Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 20mg of esomeprazole, a medicine known as a proton pump inhibitor.

Nexium Control is intended for adults aged 18 years and over. It should not be used by children or adolescents under 18.

Nexium Control should preferably be avoided during pregnancy and must not be used while breastfeeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Common side effects include headache, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, wind, nausea and vomiting. Stop taking it and seek immediate medical help if you develop a severe allergic reaction or serious skin reaction.
