Anbesol Liquid provides temporary relief from pain caused by recurrent mouth ulcers and denture irritation. It may also relieve teething pain in children aged five months and over when non-medicinal measures have not worked.

It contains lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic that numbs pain, plus chlorocresol and cetylpyridinium chloride, which have antiseptic properties.

Apply the undiluted liquid directly to the affected area using a clean fingertip. Follow the dosage instructions supplied with the product and do not exceed the recommended amount

Applications may be repeated after three hours if necessary. Children must not receive more than six applications within 24 hours.
